Monkey!

This picture was taken by me last Saturday. It was in SUNG PO LING, where the wild monkeys live. It is my first time to see monkeys out of the zoos, so I was very excited. The local citizen told me that there has more thanthree hundred monkeys, but I just seen three monkeys that day! Maybe most of the monkeys had already full before I arrived, so they went back to take a nap.In this picture, a monkey was eating banana. I found that something interests from those monkeys when tourists want to give them some fruit. They will observing the environment around him first and till they think it is safe. Then they will climb down the tree quickly and get the fruit from people, smelling and defining their presents and then climb back to the tree. They are smart because they can distinguish the food. I am very happy to have this wonderful experience.

Learning the second language

This semester, I choose to learn Japanese to be my second language. It is my first time to learn Japanese. That’s interesting and I am so excited. My older sister told me if I am good at English and Japanese, I could enter the very nice company. The ability of language is accumulated by a long time. The other skills could learn from the job or bring up by on-the-job training.
The question why I choose Japanese to be my second language is very easy. I think Japanese is easier to learn than the other languages, and the distance between Taiwan and Japan is very short; there are so many import and export trade between Taiwan and Japan. If I could learn it well, I could enter the business firm to be a translator or publicist. It sounds like fun.

Merry Christmas

Today is Christmas day; I still need to go to the Ballroom Dance Club. Dance doesn’t have holiday! All of us were prepared a dancing show for the dancing party at the last day of this year. This dancing party host by our dancing teacher on every two years. It is a big dancing party, and our teacher told us there would have two thousand people took part in this party. But I didn’t go there that night; I could not know how many people were there actually. Our teacher was attaching importance to this dancing party, he asked us to be his helpers and paid all our expense for repay.
After the club time, I went to the cake store to buy a chocolate cake for being my Christmas present; it tasted good!!

Winter vacation part2

This winter vacation, I have some different plan. I still have to do the part time job; but, I want to use my leisure time to study some more English books. I want to read some literatures, such as Shakespeare. I had never read this kind of literature; but I know it is important to recognize the western literatures. I know there has a class for reading literatures in school, but I don’t like the exam; maybe I will read by myself. I also want to train up my oral speaking ability during this winter vacation. But in Changhua, there has few resources about the speaking training. Maybe I will choose the website such as MYET to train up my speaking ability.

Winter vacation part1

Time is running so fast, this semester remains only one month. In my opinion, winter vacation is my good chance to earn money. I am used to do the short part time job during my winter vacation since I studied at senior high school; although it only has one month, for me, it’s enough. My mother doesn’t want me to do the part time job during the school time; she thought the job will affect my grades. She was very supporting me to do the part time job during vacations; because she thought it is a good chance for me to recognize more people and cultivate good temperament. I had ever been the salesman in the shoes store; my boss told me that if I wanted to earn money more, I had to promote the shoes actively. Similarly, the boss of the clothes store told me the same conception. I think it’s a good way to bring up my speaking; I had to talk with customers and answer all their questions fluently. It is not easy. I had ever been a waitress in the restaurant. In this restaurant, all the employees like a family; my boss told me that the most important thing was let all our customers got the greatest service.

I want a part time job!!
I began has some ideas about deposit money in bank. But I have no money now. My parents give me money every month, but it’s all for living expenses. If I want to buy something else, I have to use a part of my living expenses or I have to make a phone call to my mother. I want to earn some money and deposit it in a bank. If I need to buy some goods, I can use my own savings. I think if I can do some part time job during my leisure time. I could reduce their burden.

The activity of Ballroom Dance learning had already finished. I am so happy about that, because I could use more time to do my homework or do anything I want to do. I already had ten days didn’t watch the TV programs and NEWS. There happened so many things in our country but I didn’t know that. I also didn’t went back home for a month, all of my friends knew how I miss my family.

After busy, I was going lazy.
I didn’t want to do anything but sleeping. I let myself to sleep two days to restore the lost of physical vigor.

After busy, I had more leisure time to see the English modern drama.

I am busy

I am so busy for preparing activity these days. It is a learning group for Ballroom Dance. That is my first time to take part in such a big activity. There have so many things I have to learn; such as, how to design a game and let it go fluently, how be competent for my job, etc. We always have meetings for preparing the activity. Every time when we have meeting, we have to spend more two hours to discuss, it is really boring but we have to do that.
The other thing that let me busy like an ant is homework. I spend most of time to prepare the important activity, so I just could use my leisure time to do my homework; although I know it was to put the cart before the horse, I have no better idea to do that.

Coupon

I got a coupon from the other classmates today. It was a coupon for McDonald’s. Then I decided to eat McDonald’s for my lunch. I chose to eat a spicy chicken hamburger, fries, and a cup of coke. I like its fries the most; although there has some other stores like KFC also has fries, I still like McDonald’s’ special flavor. You don’t need to put other seasoning on it. A fresh fries and some salt mixed together and it is delicious.
I also got the KFC’s coupon, it is also looked delicious. I always order a 6PCS CHICKEN with my friend. If we use KFC’s coupon, we could add two cups of coke, and it just need to pay ten dollars more. And I also like its corn, because it just needs ten dollars if you have coupon. It’s so cheap and sweet!

My sister

My sister let me go crazy!!
When will my little sister grow up and not just like a baby? She is already 10 years old. I think she already could control herself. But actually, she didn’t!
It is a nightmare.
Every time I went back home happily, but went back to school unhappily.
Every morning when I am sleeping. She will wake me up just because she want me bring her to buy candies and cookies. If I am not getting up on time, she will cry and yell so loud to wake me up. I always tell her she just eats the breakfast; her stomach has already full, there needs some time to digest the food. But she always told me that she is hungry again! Oh my god! I can’t believe that she could eat so many foods and never feel full. Every time I went back home I could notice that she was a little bit fat more again. I try to control her good appetite, but I have no idea.
It is really a difficult work for me.

In most of families, eating outside is always the biggest costs. For this reason, how to save money from “Eat” is a big learning. Why the outside food always cost a lot? Because they want to make more profit. They often use mass media to increase their repute, and then begin to raise the price. But the qualities of food are not advancement. For my opinion, if we want to save our money, eating at home is the best choice.
Our earth is having a big danger now. The garbage increasing quickly every year. Also, the government is building dump every year.
We always criticize the government building dumps. But actually, the rubbish are always producing by us. The largest source of garbage is the package of the food and the tableware that we need not to wash. Most of the rubbish producing from eating outside. I think it important that we pay attention to the issue of environmental conservation. Therefore, if we want to have a beautiful earth, we must to protect it! Eating at home is your first pace.
To put it in a nutshell, preparing and eating food at home could have balanced diet and keep our health, helping us to save money and most important, it can reduce more garbage. Therefore, it is the better choice to prepare and eat food at home than eat at food stands or restaurants.

Health is more precious than anything else in our life. Eating outside is unhealthy than eating at home. The outside foods are always having high fat, high sugar and high calorific capacity. Besides, the outside food always adds a lot of monosodium glutamate and salt to increase their flavor. These factors will bring cardiovascular diseases just like heart disease, high blood pressure and diabetes mellitus. The research report indicates that the percentage of the cancer has already from 1:27 promoted to 1:3. That is to say, there has one person had chance to get cancer in twenty-seven people before; but now, there has one person had chance to get cancer in just three people! It is really astonished news. People usually do not know how important health is until they lose it. Thus, if we want to keep our health, we must change our eating habit. Eating at home is the best way to keep healthy.

I will favor the idea of preparing and eating food at home. Nowadays, there are more and more people asking faster and more convenient way for eat. But at the same time, these conveniences are also bringing some problems. There are some merits to support my idea. First, preparing and eating food at home is healthier than eating outside. We can choose the nutrition we need. Second, eating at home is more economic. It can save more money from eating outside. Finally, eating at home could reduce more garbage. We always use tableware that need not to wash. It could produce a lot of garbage. I will use reasons and specific examples to support my opinion.

Seeing the movie" PERFUME"

I think the lead role in this movie was very terrible, he was good at smelling, and he can run so fast. He could smell so far away and ran faster than the leopard. He was calm and odd. He never showed his feeling, and killed the beauty ladies without mercy. I think if there really has this kind of person in the world, all the women will live with scare everyday.
In the movie, the man killed the ladies with very strange way, he snipped off all the ladies’ hair; it’s disgusting and abnormal. I had tried to guess his mood when he killed the ladies, but I can’t conjecture his mind. Maybe the criminals will know his feeling.

The Movie " PERFUME" Part2

He started to kill the particular women, snipped off all their hair, took off all their cloth and collects their fragrance by use some secret goods. He killed many beautiful ladies and collected their perfume,the officer was worried about that, because he didn't want to lose his daughter. He took his daughter to the other country which should spend more then three weeks to go there. But the man use his good smelling ability to find and kill the officer's daughter and achieved his own perfume. When he caught by the police and showed to people, he took out his perfume and opened it. Everyone smelled it and felt like arrived the heaven. He escaped from the country and went back to his own country. Finally, he died with a very magic way.

The Movie " PERFUME" Part1

In this movie, there was a man had well at smelling. He could distinguish all the spice. One day, he walked on the street and found there has a perfume store; there were so many women in the store and were choosing the best perfume. So the man decided to make the best perfume in the world. He visited to the most famouse perfume maker, and showed his volunteer for being the perfume maker's student. The perfume maker was bother with the newest perfume's recipe. The man smelled the newest perfume and took some spices to make the same perfume. The perfume maker was surprised with the man's innate ability. So he decided to let the man to be his student. One day, the man found that if he could collect all the spices from thirteen ladies, he could make the best perfume.

In short, I strongly agree with that students should study more subjects by different classification rather than only subjects in their majors. There are many advantages for students who study different subjects when they in the school. It could train up their second specialty so that they could have more opportunity to get the job. They also could make different friends from different departments, and those friends will have great help when they need assists in the future. Studying in different department also could help you to find your own interests, and assist you to find what you want to do in the future. Tues, I strongly agree that students should study in the different kinds of departments.

You can make more friends when you study in the different kinds of departments. Interpersonal relationship is very important now. If you make more good friends, you might achieve more easily in your undertaking. When you need help, friends are always trying their best to help you. If your friends have different kinds of specialty, they will have great assists for you when you meet diverse difficult. Therefore, when you subject in different departments, you can make more friends those whom have benefits for you in the future.
If you want to find your interests, you must to hold the chance when you are in school, you can choose whatever subjects you are interested, and you can find what your aspiration earlier is. Or if you are already had aspirations, you can choose subjects which will have helpful to you. For instants, Jane is major in English, but she wants to be a businesswoman in the future, so when she chooses her programs, she can select Accounting or Economics to full of her knowledge. Tues, we can find our interests in what programs we choose.

From my point of view, I disagree with the description that students study only in their majors. There are a lot of merits if students study subjects in different majors. First of all, students should learn more different subjects to train up their second specialty. Secondly, you can make more friends when you study in the different kinds of department. Finally, studying in different subjects could help us to find what we are interested. For the reason, I deeply agree with that students should take lessons in variety of subjects. Now, I will these above-mentioned reasons to explain my position.
Training up the second specialty is very important now. Nowadays, there are more and more people couldn’t find the job no matter how his diploma higher. Even the doctor just could be a sweeper if he just know what he majors. Also, there are many people had work but what they are working now are not their majors.　A lot of companies want their employees have to possess second specialty. So, we should have cultivated second specialty to increase our might of competition.

Seeing the novel- The Witches

This novel was created by Roald Dahl; he is now considered one of the most beloved storytellers of our time. He always uses different kind of writing skills for his stories. In this story, the witches are different to original witches we known before. They do not wear black clothes, black hat, black thigh boot, and even with a black cat! They are just like normal women with normal jobs. Maybe they are your college, your neighbors, or even your teachers. All the witches hate the children, so they usually host a meeting to plot how to kill all of the children. They made a poison called “Formula 86 Delayed Action Mouse-Maker.” That is to say, anyone who ate the poison will become a mouse. Their entire plot was discovered by a little boy, so they use the poison to let the boy turn into a mouse. But the boy never disheartened, he discusses to his grandmother and they find a way to stop this plot. They mixed the poison which was made by the witches into the witches’ food, and all of the witches become mice. Finally, they wipe all the witches out and save all the children’s life.

Being a cadre-Final

But I am a sponsor this year, I have to notice so many things, such as there has too much mosquito, someone is scalded, and so on. If I can not handle what will happen in an activity, people who take part in our trip will not happy in the end. Therefore, people who are a cadre have to notice all of the conditions in an activity.
To put it in a nutshell, a cadre in a group is definitely with a different kind of duties. Each of us has to doing our works on time. Besides, we have to help other cadre when they need help. The most important thing in an activity is that we have to notice all of the conditions when time is going. If we can do our works well, our group must be the excellent one.

Two heads are better than one. In the group, every of us have different works. Sometimes, the things we allotted will more than other people. At this time, we must need help! But if we did not help other people when they needed help before, they will not help us. People are helping each other, no one will willing to help the selfish one. Therefore, helping other people voluntarily when they need it, we will have good report someday.
Being a cadre is proud in a group. It also has a different meaning. Being a cadre has to afford more duty. We must be noticing all of the conditions when the activity is going. I remembered that I took part in our club’s trip last year. At that time, I am just to join the game they planed; I don’t need to worry about all of the conditions.

Her parents were worried about her marriage because no one wants to marry with a girl who just had one eye to see, so they ask the matchmaker for help. This matchmaker was famous because she never failed. The matchmaker saw the young lady, she knew that no man want to marry her. But she did not say this to the family. Instead she promised to help the lady found a suitable one. At the same time, there lived a young man who was born with one leg longer than the other. The children always teasing him, but he did not mind. His parents were worried about him, too. Because no one would marry with a man like him. So they decided to ask for help from matchmaker. The matchmaker also promised to help them found a good lady. The matchmaker thought about the lady and the young man. But all the people she knew were not suitable. Suddenly, his mind was lit up by a wild idea. Both of them suffering from being different, so maybe they’d be more curtain just enough to show half of her face and let the young man rode a house when their parents meeting with them. Both of two families were satisfied. On the wedding day, the matchmaker explained that love in the marriages should grow from the heart, not from looks. Finally, the matchmaker was achieved for making a match again.

Retell The Story- The Hunting of the Divine

On Mount Ali in Taiwan, there lived an indigenous tribe named Tsou. These people were very good at hunting. Their hunting was a combination of art, courage and religion. At the place where the sun set, there was a scared valley called Danayuku, where hunters were forbidden to go. It was said that the Guard of Nature transformed himself into a white deer and protecting all the creatures in the valley.
The Tsou people believed that the respect they paid to the Guard of Nature at Danayiku was rewarded in their safe hunting elsewhere and got enough animals to hunt.
There was a young man named Avai, he was the best hunter in village. There was not an animal that could escape his arrows once he aimed at it. The elders adored him, while the young respected him. So he became as proud as a peacock. He thought Danayiku and the white deer were just a story. The chief admonished him for his arrogant attitude, but Avai was still not satisfied with the elder’s words. He intruded into Danayiku and finally he saw the white deer with a grand crown. Avai aimed his arrow and shot it. Just before the arrow reached the white deer, it stopped and turned toward Avai and struck him in the stomach.Before he died, he told other people that the story is true and hope continue the story with him as a lesson for the young.

About Myself 2

I ever took part in English drama competition. It was my first time to take a big competition, and it was also my first time to be a director in the group. In preparing time, I got a lot of trouble and wanted to give up. But my teacher told me that “Little strokes fell great oaks” and “Rome was not built in a day.” In the end, we got the third grade, the best screenwriter and I got an honor of the best director. I am so happy that I can have this wonderful experience.
I have been very active in school activities. I am a member of the Ballroom Dance Club in school. I believe that dancing could train up my courage and increase confidence in myself. Besides, I also join SGI and plan an activity to the junior and senior high school students in summer vacation. I really like to take part in school activities. Through them I make many friends, have lots of fun, and gain many valuable experiences.
In the future, I will keep on ameliorating my English ability and learning the second foreign languages. Besides, I will learn some knowledge of business and administration. I hope I can become a specialize administrator and have contribute to our country.

My name is Daphne. I was born on October 26, 1987 in CHANG HWA City. There are five people in my family. Both of my parents are businessmen, and my sisters are students. My parents are open-minded and have a good sense of humor. They always support me when I get a trouble, and urge me not to give up. My father certainly has a great influence on me. There was a rich man who had three daughters. All of them are beautiful. The rich man asked his daughters what they wish to be in the future. Both of first and second daughter said, “My future lies in your hand, father.” But the last one declared, “ I’m the only one who can decide my future.” The rich man was irritated by this arrogant answer. So he found a beggar and planed to let his daughter marry him. The third daughter burst into tears. The rich man’s wife gave a small box of pearls to her; she could not help more but cry. But the daughter told her that she would show her father what he is doing now will not change her life. The beggar had no place to stay and the only place the beggar could think of was a haunted house own by his cousin. The third daughter took out some of the pearls and wanted to sell them to get some food and furniture. These pearls let the beggar thought of some white things at the temple. They found and stuck his hand into the hole. An old man appeared and told him that he just could take only a handful, the rest of them belongs to Yee Men Tze. The beggar quickly grabbed a handful of pearls and ran back home. That night, both of them had the same strange dream. So they examined the roots they dreamed closely, they found a hole covered with weeds. They finally found two jars and opened the lids carefully. One jar was filled with gold and the other one with shiver. They bought the haunted house and had a son a year later. They asked the rich man to name the baby. The name” Yee Men Tze” he named was the old man said at the temple before. They went back to the temple and got a lot of pearls.

There were two brothers. First Brother was greedy; Second Brother was simple-minded and. After their father passed away, First Brother suggested they should split the father’s property and go on with their separate lives. First Brother had the house and the land by their river. Second brother got the piece of land in the hills and the hut. Also, First Brother got the buffalo with his evil plot, and Second Brother just got a tiny tick. But Second Brother was very satisfied. With no one to talk to, Second Brother treated the tick like his friend. One day, a cock ate the tick. His friend gave his dog to make it up to Second Brother. He tied a plow to the dog, and to lure him forward. The rumor of a dog plowing a field spread all over the neighborhood. A rich man saw the dog and felt amazing, so he gave 50 silver coins to Second Brother. First Brother burning with jealousy, and barrow the dog from Second Brother. But the dog and didn’t help him to plow the field. He whipped the dog over and over until the dog dropped dead. Knowing that the dog was mistreated, but without any proof. Second Brother couldn’t do anything but take the dog’s body and bury it in the hills. Strangely enough, there grew a strange tree on the hill, with bore strange black beans. After he ate the beans, when he farted, it smelled as good as perfume. He started to sell his perfumed farts and also got a lot of money. First Brother heard about this news so he went to the tree and ate a bushel of black beans and also went to the judge to sell his farts. But his fart was like a million-year-old rotten egg bomb. So he got fifty lashes. Second Brother became rich; he got himself a buffalo and a nice house. Finally, he attracted some girls with those wonderful farts. First Brother learned a lesson and never tried to take advantage of honest people again.

Long ago, there was a girl called Ah-Chiao. She was sold to a rich family as servant when she was only five years old. Ah-Chiao was very ugly, because she was small and plain and worst of all, she had pimples all over her face. Some people called her sparrow-leg and cat-face because her legs were skinny like a bird’s and her face was spotted like cat’s. Everyone did not like her. One day, there was a beggar who came to the neighborhood and begged food. This missus did not want to help him. But Ah-Chiao did. She gave him food every day, and even cleaned up the old man’s wound. The pus shot out and spattered on her face, but she did not stop until the wound was clean. When she went back, her pimples were all gone, and her skin looked fair, soft, and smooth like baby’s skin. Ah-Chiao told every one what had happened by the river. The next day, all the maids and even the missus started to squeeze the wounds and smear the pus on the face. But their face started to grow hair. The hair did not stop growing until it cover every inch of their bodies. They begged the beggar to help them. The beggar said,” Just sit on them and the hair will be gone.” But the rocks were not just red; they were burning hot red. These women were too ashamed to go back to the village, they ran to the wood instead, wailing and howling. It’s the source of monkeys.

The creator came up with an idea that the most attentive one should get the longest lifespan. He announced his plan to the world, and a competition was started. Everyone was plotting a way to get up early in order to respond to the longest lifespan. Man was plotting, too. The Man tried a lot of ways to keep consciousness. But he still falls asleep in the end. The next morning, most of creatures got their lifespan. But the Man didn’t even more. Dog felt sorry for him. He crept over to Man and licked his face. Man jumped up and got just five years. He was so sad. Dog felt sorry for him again. So Dog decided to trade their lifespan. Man was so happy and said to Dog, “You’ll be my best friend.” Some of animals gave their part of lifespan to Dog. That’s why dogs are people’s best friend.

People worked very hard in the fields for their food without any helpers. They cried to the heaven and the Goddess of Mercy decided to help them. He nodding his head and promising to help people. Year after year, the Buffalo worked hard and without complaining, but when he grew weaker and weaker and was not able to work. He killed by people, but the Goddess of Mercy was too late to help him. She cried so hard that her eyes dropped to the earth and broke into pieces and turned into field snails.

Lunch

Today, Grace, Winnie, Judy and I had lunch with our teacher. Last semester, we were too busy to have lunch with our teacher, so this is my first time to have a lunch with our teacher. I was so excited. Our teacher is a very smart woman; all of her ideas are different with others. She told us if we did not know what course we would like to learn in graduate school, we could have a work, first. After two or three years, we could come back and learn what we really want. I thought it is really a different idea I ever heard. My father always told me if I would like have a good job, I had to study the graduate school before work. I did not know what kind of course I really want to learn now, but I know I would not choose English in graduate school. I have no second professional skill now, so I need to learn more. If I have a work before study in graduate school, maybe I will have a right direction.

A deity wants to find a decent human being to be his disciple. He wants to find a person who was not greed, so he disguised as a vendor and turned a mountain into millions of buns. Then he erected a sign that said, “one cent for one bun: two cents for all you can eat.” People passed by and saw the sign, they though the vendor must mad a mistake or he was a plain moron. More and more people came to the vendor, and soon the mountain of buns was covered with people. From an 80-year-old grandpa to a 1-year-old baby who could barely walk, everyone was gulping, gathering, holding, shoveling, squeezing, and wrapping buns. The mountain of buns was soon dented like a giant had bitten into it, and got bigger and bigger. The vendor’s heart sank just as the sun was setting. He said he just want to have a taste of the buns. Finally, a deity found a decent human. With a wave of his hand, he turned the mountain of buns back into a mountain and taking the boy’s hand and stepped onto the cloud. They finally disappeared into the starry Milky Way.
