The creator came up with an idea that the most attentive one should get the longest lifespan. He announced his plan to the world, and a competition was started. Everyone was plotting a way to get up early in order to respond to the longest lifespan. Man was plotting, too. The Man tried a lot of ways to keep consciousness. But he still falls asleep in the end. The next morning, most of creatures got their lifespan. But the Man didn’t even more. Dog felt sorry for him. He crept over to Man and licked his face. Man jumped up and got just five years. He was so sad. Dog felt sorry for him again. So Dog decided to trade their lifespan. Man was so happy and said to Dog, “You’ll be my best friend.” Some of animals gave their part of lifespan to Dog. That’s why dogs are people’s best friend.
