Retell The Story - Why Are Monkeys' Butts Red?

Long ago, there was a girl called Ah-Chiao. She was sold to a rich family as servant when she was only five years old. Ah-Chiao was very ugly, because she was small and plain and worst of all, she had pimples all over her face. Some people called her sparrow-leg and cat-face because her legs were skinny like a bird’s and her face was spotted like cat’s. Everyone did not like her. One day, there was a beggar who came to the neighborhood and begged food. This missus did not want to help him. But Ah-Chiao did. She gave him food every day, and even cleaned up the old man’s wound. The pus shot out and spattered on her face, but she did not stop until the wound was clean. When she went back, her pimples were all gone, and her skin looked fair, soft, and smooth like baby’s skin. Ah-Chiao told every one what had happened by the river. The next day, all the maids and even the missus started to squeeze the wounds and smear the pus on the face. But their face started to grow hair. The hair did not stop growing until it cover every inch of their bodies. They begged the beggar to help them. The beggar said,” Just sit on them and the hair will be gone.” But the rocks were not just red; they were burning hot red. These women were too ashamed to go back to the village, they ran to the wood instead, wailing and howling. It’s the source of monkeys.
