Seeing the novel- The Witches

This novel was created by Roald Dahl; he is now considered one of the most beloved storytellers of our time. He always uses different kind of writing skills for his stories. In this story, the witches are different to original witches we known before. They do not wear black clothes, black hat, black thigh boot, and even with a black cat! They are just like normal women with normal jobs. Maybe they are your college, your neighbors, or even your teachers. All the witches hate the children, so they usually host a meeting to plot how to kill all of the children. They made a poison called “Formula 86 Delayed Action Mouse-Maker.” That is to say, anyone who ate the poison will become a mouse. Their entire plot was discovered by a little boy, so they use the poison to let the boy turn into a mouse. But the boy never disheartened, he discusses to his grandmother and they find a way to stop this plot. They mixed the poison which was made by the witches into the witches’ food, and all of the witches become mice. Finally, they wipe all the witches out and save all the children’s life.
